Master Checkers

Master Checkers is a free HTML5 checkers game played on the classic 8x8 board. Slide your pieces diagonally, capture everything your opponent leaves unguarded and clear the board. You can face a computer opponent that thinks over every move, or play two-player with a friend on the same device. The mandatory jump rule is switched on, so one careless move can hand over a whole chain of captures.

How to Play Master Checkers

• Choose game mode: Pick a match against the computer or a two-player game on the same device.
• Move your pieces: Tap or click a piece and the board highlights the squares it can reach.
• Mandatory jump: When a capture is available the game shows MANDATORY JUMP! and you have to take it.
• Crown your kings: Reach the far row and your piece becomes a king that also moves and captures backwards.
• Win the game: Take every enemy piece, or leave your rival with no legal move at all.
